SSC CPO stands for "Staff Selection Commission Central Police Organization." It is an examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in India for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in various Central Police Organizations like the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), etc.

3.    Paper-II: This is a descriptive paper, usually in English or Hindi, which evaluates candidates' understanding and command of the English language.
